2/7/18
Sup fam,
Well nothing absolutely crazy has happened
this week so this email might be a little dry. finally people are starting to
listen and what do you know, weve been getting a lot of references so thats been
a blessing. our first reference was this girl named Nancy shes 16 and just a
charm. When we sat down to teach her the first lesson and oh wowwwww this was a
first lesson I'll never forget. usually when you sit down and talk the first
lesson its like small talk and stuff but this girl was digging deep asking
questions about temple marriage, young women activities, word of wisdom and
wait for it. priesthood. this first lesson was like 2 hours because she had a
billion questions but I left super happy because she was showing some genuine
interest in the church. but the biggest blessing is when we left shes like i
want you guys to teach my sister, then when we walked out the door shes like oh
yeah and i also have a friend who's interested in the church! this was a
blessing.
this week in my
studies I was reading in d&c 18 where it says:
15 And if it so be that you should labor
all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be
one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the
kingdom of my Father!
16 And now, if your joy will be
great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the Kingdom of
my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many soul unto
me!
So what
exactly is the "worth" of a human soul? after about a week of
pondering and thinking this question, i came up with an answer. the worth of a
human soul is its potential to become like God. Thats a thought to ponder for
the week. love you guys lots.
Thanks for the support and the love.
